Hello! We've arrived in Kuala Lumpur!!

We're staying at little hostel called Suzie's Guesthouse in a bunkbed room and moving to a girls dorm room tonight. Everyone so far is really nice and helpful but we've not actually seen that many other travellers out and about.

 

First thing we had to do today was find the Thailand Embassay to buy our visa's for Thailand so we managed to get a train a bit accross town (below pic) and find our way, which was actually pretty easy. It was 1.40RM to get accross town (about 30p!!). Its gorge weather, very hot and perfect blue skies! :)

 

 

 

 We walked around town after this, having an explore and went to see the Patronas Towers (pic) which are apparently the landmark of Kuala Lumpur and some of the tallest buildings in the world.

 The city has lots of really modern bits with glass sky scrapers and brand new roads etc and then on the other side it'll have a run down shack building (pic below), its a real mix!

 

 Here's the huge inside market where they had thousands of fake designer handbags from every single brand, pretty hard to resist!!

 

We are staying right next to ChinaTown which is full of bright colours and lanterns etc. This flower shop looked so pretty I had to take a pic!

 

We're here for 2 more nights then on to Penang, up the coast for some sunshine and beach fun and Chinese New Year!
